The Goals Still Stand! Adjust the Crown and Keep Reaching šŸ‘‘

Let me start by saying this loud enough for the back row YOU ARE NOT BEHIND. I don’t care what Instagram, TikTok, or your ā€œI just bought another houseā€ cousin says. If you haven’t hit every single goal you set for yourself this year (or even last year), baby… breathe. You still have time.

Now, I know some of y’all looked at your vision boards recently and got mad like, ā€œLord, did mine expire?ā€ 😩 But trust me, it didn’t. Life just has a funny way of stretching us before blessing us.

Being a grown woman means understanding that progress doesn’t always move in straight lines or follow your timeline. Sometimes God slows you down to show you who you really are, not just what you can do.

So before you start spiraling, comparing, or throwing your whole 2025 away, let’s talk about some real-life strategies to keep reaching without losing your mind, your joy, or your edges.

šŸ’” 1. Revisit, Don’t Rewrite

Sometimes your goals just need a remix, not a replacement. Maybe you didn’t lose 30 pounds, but sis, did you drink more water? Walk more? Start saying ā€œnoā€ to stress? That’s progress too. Count those small wins because they too matter.

šŸ—“ļø 2. Make Your Calendar Your Accountability Partner

Set ā€œdream appointmentsā€ with yourself. Block off an hour a week just for your goals; no kids, no work, no scrolling. Treat it like you would a hair appointment: show up on time, stay the whole time, and come out looking (and feeling) better than you went in.

šŸ™šŸ¾ 3. Talk to God and Take Notes

Pray about it, yes. But also, write down what you hear. Sometimes clarity shows up in quiet moments or right after you’ve finished fussing. God’s like, ā€œNow that you’re done talking, can I tell you the plan?ā€

šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ 4. Stay in Motion

Even if you have to crawl, keep moving. A slow walk still burns calories and a small step still counts as progress. Don’t confuse stillness with surrender because there’s a difference between resting and quitting.

šŸ’…šŸ¾ 5. Keep Your Eyes on Your Own Paper

Comparison is the thief of joy and sometimes the reason we keep quitting. Your timeline is not her timeline. What’s for her came FedEx. What’s for you is being hand-delivered. Be patient. (This was specifically for me lol)

ā¤ļø 6. Remember Who You Are

You’ve already survived worse. You’ve bounced back, prayed through, laughed when you could’ve cried, and still managed to show up. That’s not luck, sis that’s grace.

So no, you’re not too old, too late, too tired, or too far behind. You’re just in process. The key is to keep reaching and with intention, with faith, and with a little bit of humor along the way.

Because the truth is, you’re not waiting on time… time’s been waiting on you to move.

Now go on and finish strong, sis. You still got this. šŸ’«

āœļø Bible Verse of the Week

ā€œBeing confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.ā€ Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

šŸ’– Affirmation

ā€œI am not behind. I am in divine alignment. My goals still stand, and so do I.ā€
