But Who’s Stopping You?

Let’s be real for a minute; half the time, it’s not them. It’s not “the haters,” it’s not your boss, it’s not your circumstances. Sis… it’s you.

Yep. I said it with love ❤️ , but also with my eyebrow raised. We talk about walking in purpose, chasing dreams, and leveling up but then we turn around and build roadblocks out of our own fears, doubts, and “I’ll do it next week” energy. The real question is: but who’s stopping you?

The Mirror Moment

Every now and then, you’ve got to have a mirror moment. You know the one; where you look yourself dead in the eye and say, “Girl, what are we doing?” Sometimes you’re not waiting on God, you’re waiting on confidence. And newsflash: confidence doesn’t come before action; it comes because of it.

Stop editing the same business plan for the 8th time. Stop praying for a sign when God already gave you the vision. Stop saying “I’m not ready yet” because you’ll never be 100% ready, but obedience doesn’t need perfection, it just needs participation.

Faith is the Fuel, Not the Excuse

Having faith doesn’t mean you sit still waiting on a miracle; it means you move like the miracle is already on its way. Some of us are hiding behind prayer when we should be using the strategy God already gave us.

Faith says, “I trust You, Lord.” Strategy says, “Now let me get this LLC, build this system, and send this email.” The magic happens when you mix both.

Three Ways to Get Out of Your Own Way

1. Name Your Fear and Then Starve It.

You cant conquer what you keep pretending isn’t there. Write down the thing that keeps you hesitating; fear of failure, rejection, or even success and then take one bold action that directly challenges it. Scared to launch? Post the link anyway. Nervous to speak? Do it shaking.

2. Create Clarity, Not Chaos.

Your path doesn’t need to be complicated. Pick one goal and give it consistent attention for 90 days. That’s it. The reason most people don’t move forward is because they’re too busy juggling 12 ideas and completing none. Focus creates flow.

3. Keep People Around Who Call You Out and Cheer You On.

Accountability is not the enemy; it’s the mirror you didn’t ask for but absolutely need. Find people who love you enough to say, “Sis, you’re playing small,” and support you when you finally play big.

The Funny Truth

Sometimes, we’re like, “God, why isn’t it happening yet?” And He’s like, “Because you keep talking yourself out of it.” We’ll pray for open doors, then freeze when the knob turns. Listen; if God gave you the dream, He already factored in your flaws. You just have to move your feet.

The Wrap-Up

The path to success isn’t hidden; it’s just cluttered with self-doubt, procrastination, and fear of failure. Clear it out, step boldly, and remember: the version of you that has everything you want is just on the other side of taking action.

So again I ask—but who’s stopping you?Exactly. Nobody.

Now go be great, unapologetically and on purpose.
